What is GSR?
The Premier Global Venue:
The ITU’s annual cornerstone event since 2000, bringing together the heads of national ICT regulatory authorities, Industry executive and senior digital policy experts.
Global Blueprint:
Produces the renowned “GSR Best Practice Guidelines,” a set of forward-looking regulatory principles adopted by consensus that serves as a key reference for regulators worldwide.

Backed by the collective expertise of ITU’s 194 Member States and its diverse network of private sector and academic members, ensuring a truly global perspective.

Registration is mandatory and handled through the ITU events portal.
Create (or sign in with) a free ITU User Account.
Select “GSR-25 – Riyadh” in the calendar and complete the online form.
Once validated you will receive a confirmation e-mail and an e-badge QR code.
Only the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be streamed live on ITU Web TV and archived for on-demand viewing. Core and thematic sessions will not be broadcast; instead, post-event summaries and presentation materials will be made available to delegates.

Most foreign delegates can apply online for the Saudi eVisa (multi-entry, 90-day stay, issued within minutes for passport holders from 60 + eligible economies). Apply at visa.visitsaudi.com and travel with the same passport used in the application. Delegates from countries not on the eVisa list should request a business visit visa through their nearest Saudi mission.
